The Drop-in center for adolescent daughters of sex-workers in the red light areas. This is an effort to keep them away from sexual abuse during business hours. In Shibir children are not only given protection but also education. At Shibir they interact with the teachers and volunteers about their problems and miseries. There play indoor games like Ludo, Carom etc. Thus the girls spend quality time away from any sort of danger.


It is the documentation and research unit of Jabala. Our main focus is on different child related problems and their alleviation. Jabala publishes a book for the marginalised children called Phuljhuri to increase the reading habit of the slow learners.
